I was referred to Dr. Conte’s office when my orthodontist discovered bone loss. During my appointment, Dr. Conte discussed the differences between gingivitis and periodontal disease. After I left, I requested a summary of the appointment because I felt confused. His receptionist, Jenn, was very short with me. She simply forwarded the diagnosis that was sent to my ortho office and after googling some terms, I discovered that I have advanced gum disease. This was a huge shock to me as I have always had regular cleanings and brush and floss daily. We went back and forth by email as I needed some clarity with a few things (what type of anesthesia is necessary, codes for my insurance, etc.) and Jenn was very unpleasant, even using caps in her responses, clearly showing a lack of care and respect for patients. She made me feel horrible, so I looked around for an alternative consultation. At my second consultation, I asked Jenn to forward my X-rays. She then started repeatedly asking me about cancelling my appointments because ‘she books Dr. Conte very far ahead and others really want these appointments.’ I understand that people probably cancel a lot and that can be frustrating, but I

I'm so grateful for Dr. Conte's gentle, expert care. I know that he's really invested in my dental well-being and has helped me navigate some serious issues over many years. He is surrounded by wonderful staff who also embody the values of kindness, compassion, and service. My life would be very different without Dr. Conte.

I had oral surgery with Dr. Conte and he made me feel well informed and completely relaxed. The procedure was painless even thought it involved stitches!! If only he could be cloned! His staff is amazing too.
